    Product Description

    Methy l Ester Sul fonate (MES)

    Features:

    1. Derived from natural raw materials and renewable resources, with good biodegradability, it is an environmentally friendly product.

    2. Mild performance, less irritating to human body than alkylbenzene sulfonic acid.

    3. Low oral toxicity, practically non-toxic to organisms.

    4. Good detergency, maintains good detergency in cold water and hard water, detergency in soft water is higher than sulfonic acid, in hard water, the difference is more obvious, and this is one of the main weaknesses of sulfonic acid.

    5. Good compatibility, suitable for compounding with other surfactants, the compounding effect is obvious, and when used in formulas, it can maintain enzyme activity better than alkylbenzene sulfonic acid.

    6. Excellent solubilizing ability, under the same conditions, the solubilizing ability is twice that of LAS and AS.

    7. Good foam performance, the foam performance of C12-14 carbon MES is basically the same as that of other surfactants.

    8. Calcium soap is well dispersed, suitable for adding and modifying soap and toilet soap, and can reduce the formation of soap scale.

    9. Phosphorus-free performance is good. In the absence or reduction of sodium tripolyphosphate additives, the performance of sulfonic acid drops greatly, but MES still maintains a good effect. It is suitable for the production of phosphorus-free and low-phosphorus environmentally friendly detergents .

    10. It has a lower CMC. The tests at home and abroad and our company have proved that the lower concentration of MES shows the same detergency as the higher concentration of sulfonic acid. Under the same conditions, the detergent formula containing MES still has better detergency than the formula containing sulfonic acid under the condition of reducing the dosage of effective substances. Its cost performance is much higher than that of traditionally used LAS, which is conducive to reducing costs and reducing the impact of washing sewage on the environment.
